We want all our programmes to raise students’ enthusiasm, skills, and aspirations. None of this would be possible without the contribution of our supporters though.
Our programmes involve weekly workshops, termly events, and teacher training – and all of these need the support of businesses and other organisations to be successful. For example, our weekly workshops are focused on skill development, and really benefit from the engagement of volunteers – whether talking about their professional experience, judging a competition or just helping facilitate a business game.
Our supporters are even more important for our events: Three times a year we take students out of their school environment into a business or other organisation, which gives them a chance to find out what career opportunities exist and how they can get there. Hosting one of these days is a wonderful experience for those involved and can be linked to employees’ development objectives, and always greatly enjoyed by the students.
Finally, there are lots of other ways to get involved – this website was made possible by the support of volunteers at UBS, and other organisations have supported the programme financially or with in-kind donations.
