Our events are a key part of the programme that we put together for our schools. They act as a great way to get students out of the classroom, and to widen their horizons and boost their aspirations.
We’re grateful for the support of UBS, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Oliver Wyman consultants, Manchester Airport and Manchester Enterprise Academy, all of whom host events for us and our students. Whether a business plan competition, a careers event, or a day of enterprise games the events provide an opportunity for students of different schools to meet and work together. They also help students find out more about different career paths, and what they need to realistically do and achieve to get there.
Events are a great way for organisations to achieve their CSR objectives, and help staff to build their experience and skills. We get consistently positive feedback from volunteers who take part in our days, and the students get a huge amount out of it too.
