Volunteering is a great way to get involved, and as rewarding for you as it will be for the students or teachers that you work with. It can be a way to work towards your own development objectives, build links and understanding of the young people who are coming through our education system, or just as a way to give something back.
The main ways of volunteering are by attending one of the workshops at our schools (normally for around an hour), or by helping out with one of our longer events. In either case, we will do our best to find something that works for you.
You might have a professional background that you’re willing to share – whether accounting, finance, marketing, consulting, the law, or in human resources. These are all areas that we want our students to learn more about, and so you could give a talk, or offer to be interrogated by our students.
Alternatively, you might want to help more generally with an event – for example, by facilitating a business game or challenge, or by acting as a judge in a business plan competition.
Another way to get involved as a volunteer is in helping us to develop as an organisation. For example, our website and branding were developed by volunteers from UBS.
If any of these opportunities sound appealling, or you want to find out more, just get in touch using our contact page here, and we’ll get back to you promptly. Thanks.
